Bye Bye Bottle

I decided to try Kylee with the sippy cup yesterday. At first she was not fond of it. I'm using the cups with the soft nipples and I don't think she liked the shape of them. After I put some formula in it and laid her down as if she was taking a bottle she took to it and has not had a problem since. I didn't plan on taking her completely off the bottle but if she's okay with it so am I! I just hope she does this well when it's time to wean her off the pacifier!

We had company over for a stroll in the subdivision this morning so we threw some clothes on Kylee and she, in my opinion, looked so cute! I haven't put a head band on her in so long I forgot how cute they are. I also included a picture of Kylee and Buddy playing with Buddy's toy last night.

Saturday during the day Kyle had Kylee playing in her room and found her like this when he went to check on her. Too cute!!

The Shed

Yes, it's the name of a restaurant! Saturday night after I got off of work Kyle, Kylee and I joined Val, Shane, and the girls for a little barbeque and a lot of fun! There's a new restaurant here in Scott that we decided to give a try. It has a bar, a live band, and is kid friendly! Who knew that existed? LOL. We had a great time and are glad we got to spend some quality time with family!

GEAUX SAINTS!!

I got to watch the second half of the Saints game at home last night and boy was I glad! I managed to tune into most of the first half at work but there's nothing like being on your own couch enjoying the game! We are super pumped that the Saints are in the Superbowl and can't wait until February 6th!

Big Girl Bath Time

Kylee's been getting really cramped in her small baby bathtub and is sitting up really well on her own now so we decided to try her out in the big bathtub. SHE LOVED IT! She loved the running water and all the room to chase her toys. I think she'll end up being a water baby.

JumpZone

Today Kylee and I joined our playgroup in scoping out JumpZone. It's a new place in Lafayette that is basically one big room filled with inflatable slides and bouncies. There's a toddler area in the back that had a few toys and some inflatable walk throughs. There wasn't all that much for Kylee but we enjoyed ourselves anyways! We did go bounce in one of the bounce houses together and boy was that fun!!

Yesterday Kylee and I had a playdate at Lisa and Brennan's house and then we headed to Fezzo's to have supper with Kirk and Angie and their gang for Nick's birthday. We had such a good time visiting with everyone. It was great to see you all again! Happy birthday Nick and Shanna!

Lately we have been noticing that one of Kylee's bottom teeth seemed to be coming in, but we couldn't feel it yet. Well, tonight while I was bathing her I decided to check since she was in such a good mood and what do you know...I can feel the tip! She is, so far, a good teether! She hardly fussed and when she did it was not for long. Another milestone down!
