Dress Up Time

I had to pull out Kylee's next sized clothes yet again today. Kylee is so long for her age so I am having to pull out the 6/9 month clothes and she's barely 4 months! As a matter of fact we were eating at Texas Road House last night and there was a couple with an 8 month old and Kylee was just shorter than her. Anyway, while I was digging I found a couple of adorable dresses that I just had to try on her. She looked so cute in them! Thank you so much for all the wonderful clothes Aunt Robin!!

Cute as can be!

Here's a fraction of the mess from trying to organize...I'll have to finish tomorrow, I'm tired today!

New Discoveries

Kylee is discovering new things every day. I've been meaning to clean this saucer seat (or whatever it's called) that Holly gave me so we can try Kylee in it. Well, I finally got to it today and so far she likes it! She's just tall enough for it...her feet barely touch the bottom, but we're making it work! She's doing good sitting up in it and has already started playing with some of the toys. I'm so excited I have something else to keep her occupied when I need to!

Big Girl Chair

Kylee is eating more and more cereal and she is starting to get messy with it. She always wants her hands in her mouth and she ends up getting it everywhere. Today I was getting aggrivated with her getting it all over her vibrating chair, which I normally feed her in, so I decided to try out the high chair. I can at least clean that up easier. She did pretty good. She started to fall to the side once but I straightened her back up and we kept on going!

I love my food!

Play Time

Kylee was playing under her play gym this afternoon and positioned herself under one of the toys. It's the first time I've seen her do this!

Happy Birthday Carly!

Saturday while I was at work Kyle had his mom and Sister and gang over. Carly's 10th birthday was Sunday so they had a shrimp frying party. I joined after I got home from work. We were very happy to have company over to share the night with. It was great to see Gammy,
Valarie, Shane, and the girls again. Thank you all for coming!

Another Big Girl Moment

Kylee likes to eat so much I'll be so happy when she can hold her own bottle. We're working on it. She always likes her hands in the action anyway, so we figure why not start teaching her. She very seldom holds it and when she does it's for about 5 seconds. Today she suprised me and did it on her own. Here's some snap shots of her progress. Oh, and the shirt is advertisement for Jason's reality company! If you're ever in Austin, look 'em up! HaHa. Thanks for the shirt Jason!!

It was hard to get a shot fast enough before she dropped it!

We Love Company!

I was so glad to get a call from Falen Monday to hear that she was coming to visit Tuesday. It's not very often anyone comes to visit so I'll never turn down company if I can help it!!! We had a fun day filled with food and shopping. Falen got a taste of parenthood and the joy of bringing a 3 1/2 month old shopping!! After a late lunch at Applebee's we did some window shopping at the mall and a couple other stores. We had to head home after that to let the little on have a short nap. Then Kyle joined us for supper at Olive Garden. It was a blast and Falen, you're welcome back anytime! Thanks for coming to visit!!

Never fails...Kyle has to make silly faces!

Accomplishments

Kylee continues to grow more and more every day. She has such a personality now, and an attitude to go with it! We have accomplished the first step to sitting up. We still have to work on posture and persistance, but we're getting there!

I put them backwards, but this is how she ends up

This is how she starts!

Like I said, we need to work on posture, but it's a start!

Big Bad Coleton

We stopped by to visit with Jeremy and Coleton last week before his big 4th birthday and Coleton had to show us his new gun that Jeremy was going to take him to shoot. The outfit is too cute and the smile says it all. Happy birthday Coleton!

Pictures Pictures

I've been on a picture frenzy lately. It's so great to be able to stay home with Kylee and capture all the little moments! Here's some of what I've gotten.

Kylee sleeping. She apparently doesn't want to be disturbed!

Sitting in her crib watching me put up her clothes

Ready for a dinner out with Mommy and Daddy

This is what I saw when her and Kyle returned from a full day with MawMaw and PawPaw last Saturday. Must have been rough!

We were sitting in the truck waiting for Kyle to finish something. I had her sitting on my lap leaning against the back of the seat and she was sitting on her own. Won't be long before she's completely sitting up!

Wild hair after her bath!

I think we have a TV junkie on our hands.

Sweet girl!

MmmmMmmm Good!

Kylee's been rather fussy lately so I thought maybe it's time to start her on rice cereal. I was trying to wait until she was 4 months, but I figured what the heck, let's try!! So I mixed some in a bowl and went to town with a spoon. She did suprisingly well. She fussed at first, until she realized I was giving her food. It took a little while for her to get used to not being able to suck and constantly get food, but once she got the hang of it she was laughing and talking all the while gobbling down her cereal. Here's one more thing to remind me how fast she's growing! I just need everyone's prayers that the cereal doesn't mess up her stomach and I get some sleep tonight!

She was very focused on the camera!

Mmm! Big bite!

The leftovers

The result...must have been good!!

Bed Head

I put Kylee back to sleep on the couch this morning after breakfast and when she woke up this is what I found. Her hair is getting more and more like mine....curly and frizzy! Poor thing!! She is getting a cow lick that I can't do anything with! Oh well, I still think its cute!!

3 Months

Kylee made 3 months yesterday. It is just amazing how fast time flies. I keep wondering why she's fitting in 3 month outfits and I have to remind myself..."Oh yeah, she is 3 months!!" She has grown so much, not just physically, but developmentally also. She has her own personality already and, as some of us have found out, she has an attitude!! HaHa. She laughs, talks, sticks her tongue out, recognizes people, watches TV, loves to look in the mirror and loves music. She is such a gorgeous girl and we love her!
