Moving Day...Again!!

Yesterday afternoon Robin and Wade started moving into their new rent house so Kylee and I tagged along to be somewhat of a help and to see the new place. It is a very nice house with a good sized yard and big trees. Chandler already found things to look under for bugs and lizards and , of course, he already found a few! Here's a few pics from our trip.

The News Is In

Well, I got a call from my boss this morning telling me that a weekend position for me was approved. That means starting next weekend I will be working every Saturday and Sunday. I am not too excited about it since I will be missing out on all the festivities and family get togethers, but it's the sacrifice I'm willing to make in order to keep Kylee out of daycare. It will be very tough for me to have to miss everything so I ask for everyone's prayers to keep me strong! Hopefully I can still find time to see everyone. Love ya'll!!

Kylee's Baptism

I am just now getting to post Kylee's baptism. I've been pretty exhausted from this past weekend. We had a great time with everyone! We are so glad that everyone got to make it and share Kylee's special day with us. We also enjoyed the fun parties at MawMaw and PawPaw's house afterwards. I didn't get any pictures of the actual baptism because I forgot to hand my camera to someone but I do have a few from before and after. Can't wait to see everyone again!

A Bitter Sweet Day

Well, today is a little bitter sweet for us. It is the day we baptize our little girl and the day we remember the birth of our little boy. We made a trip out to the grave yard yesterday afternoon to give Noah a new flower arrangement and a birthday balloon. It seems impossible that it's been a year already. Although we didn't get a chance to know him, Noah will always be missed and in our hearts. We want to say happy birthday to Holly also! What a busy date Julyl 25 is huh?? Can't wait to see everyone this afternoon!!

I was just telling Kyle the other night that I have no clue why he was so worried about being a good Dad...he is an AWESOME Dad!! I am really blessed to have him as a husband and a father to our beautiful daughter. He is always willing to help me out, even after a long day of work and I cannot express how much I appreciate it! Baptism

Just wanted to remind everyone that Kylee's baptism will be Saturday at 1 o'clock in Iowa. We will be doing cake and punch at Kyle's mom's house right after. We would love if everyone could show up! After that we'll make our way to Mom and Dad's for some BBQ!! Hope to see everyone there!

Quiet the Fussiness

We've figured out at new trick for when Kylee decides she wants to fight her sleep and fuss instead. There's nothing a little running water can't handle! She was fussing today and I tried rocking her to sleep but she continued to fight it. I decided I needed to take my bath so I put her chair next to the bathtub, started running the water and about 10 seconds later she was sound asleep! They're so peaceful when they're sleeping!!

A New Visitor

Kyle's mom and cousin Susie came over to visit Kylee today. It was the first time Susie has been to our house and it was so nice having the company. She played her part in spoiling Kylee and we had Kyle grill some burgers for lunch. We enjoyed the food and the company!


We're going to one of Kyle's high school friend's wedding tonight so Kylee got to dress up to show off to everyone! The headband and shoes that Gammy bought go great with her cute little dress. Oh, and she's wearing the pretty bloomers Gammy...they shrunk in the dryer (a lot!). I managed to catch a little smile in this first shot!

Family Time!

As you can see from Courtney and Angie's blog we had a family get together at Mom and Dad's yesterday. It was great to see family all together again. Holly's brother in law and his wife even came for a little while to see the boys. We enjoyed Dad's famous BBQ and some good company. Can't wait to see everyone again!!

Fourth of July

We spent Fourth of July at Kyle's Uncle Mic's house yesterday. We had a good time celebrating the Fourth and celebrating Kyle Austin's birthday. It was so good to see the Fruge's again. Kylee was passed from arm to arm...believe it or not, there were even people fighting over her!!! We had a blast celebrating Kylee's first holiday!

This morning after her breakfast I had put Kylee down in her playpen in our room so I could try and get a little more sleep. I kept hearing her grunting and could see her hands moving all arouand so I decided to get up and see what she was up to. When I looked in the playpen I noticed she was starring at her mobile. This is the first time she has ever done this. So I decided to wind it up and let it play music and spin and she could not get enough of it! She had the biggest smile I have seen yet. Of course I couldn't get my camera ready in time to capture it. It is so awesome watching her grow and develop!

One Month Down!

Kylee made one month today. It doesn't seem like that long ago that our precious baby girl came into this world! How so many things can change in just one month. She is now staying awake for most of the day and, for two nights now, sleeping at night. She smiles and makes the funniest faces. Everywhere we go we have a crowd starring and adoring her. Her grip is getting stronger. The other day she pulled her own hair and started screaming crying afterwards. Silly girl! She is really focusing on objects and on other people. We can't wait to see what comes next! She is such a joy!

A Child of Many Faces

Kylee is starting to get more entertaining. She manages to ammuse me and Kyle every day with her many expressions. She smiles frequently, although I have not been able to capture a good shot of one yet. Her face is getting fat and she likes to show her double chin often. Bath Time

Kylee seems to really like her bath time. I think the warm water settles her stomach some. The other night I was giving her a bath and Kyle snapped a couple pictures. She is so cute wheter she has clothes on or not!!

What a Peaceful Night!

Well, I've got amazing news... Kylee slept through the night last night!! I could not be more excited. Obviously, this is the first time this has happened. She was in bed by 9:30 and did not wake up until 5:15 this morning! I think she would have slept even later but I had to make sure she was still alive and I think I woke her a bit. Anyways, this is a big breakthrough for me because I have been exhausted..so I thought I would share it with everyone!! Hopefully this was not a one time occurance and we continue to have peaceful nights.
