Exercise and Friendly Conversations

Yesterday Kylee and I headed to Lisa and Brennan's for some strolling and conversation. It was so pretty outside I couldn't resist going for a walk! Kylee had a great time looking at all the other kiddos while we were walking. After our walk we headed inside for some playtime and adult conversations. It was great to get out of the house and see other kids again.

Kylee and I are through being sick and are at 100% now! I'm keeping her inside for the rest of this week just to be sure, but we'll definately be attending some indoor activities! Kyle ended up getting sick after we got better,but I think he is starting to feel better also. Hopefully we're finished for the rest of the winter!

The Attitude Comes Out

For everyone who thinks Kylee is so sweet all the time here's a news flash! SHE HAS AN ATTITUDE!!! LOL. But of course, she's still my angel!! For some reason in the last 2 days she goes from playing quietly to screaming at the top of her lungs like someone is hurting her. It is very disturbing! Last night she did this while Kyle and I were taking down Christmas decorations and then again this morning she did it after she woke up from a nap. It's like she doesn't even give us a chance to let her cry a little before she gets mad...she just goes straight to being mad!!! I figured she would get this trait from her Daddy :) HaHa.

More Works of Art

These are the pictures of Kylee that Missy took on the photo shoot with the 3 girls. They are my favorite so far!!! I even like them better than our pictures from JC Penney, but that's a given...right Missy?! It's so hard to believe how much she's grown since then. It doesn't seem like that long ago that we took these. My baby girl is growing so fast!! Thank you again Missy for capturing our memories.

Behind Bars

Kylee now stays behind bars to play. She did it to herslef!! LOL. If I leave her in the living room to play with her toys she darts right for everything else that I don't want her to play with. She's not one bit interested in her toys. So yesterday Kyle bought this gate that we put in the doorway of her room and she played for probably a good hour in there this morning. She loves her room! Thank goodness. This way I can get things done around here!

Kyle also brought these home for me yesterday since I've been stuck behind bars in this house! LOL. I needed something to make me feel alive and these are just the thing..my favorite flower, tulips!!!

Indoor Entertainment

For the past 2 weeks Kylee and I have been stuck indoors due to sickness. We're starting to go a little stir crazy in here! The only place we've gone was to the doctor yesterday. I called the office and the nurse was sure Kylee had RSV. Good news, it's only bronchiolitis....BAD ENOUGH! I was very relieved that we got to come home and not make a trip to the hospital. I was so worried she had pneumonia. Anyways, we're now on breathing treatments 3 times a day...yes Holly I've entered your world. She's also on 2 other meds to try and get rid of this mess. She's been a real trooper through it all and has continued to play happily for the most part. She is really getting around now...there's no stopping her! Earlier I found her looking out the back door and a few minutes later playing with Buddy's bowls in the kitchen! Here we go!! LOL. Hopefully we're up and running by next week and we can visit all of our friends again!

Missy's Prissy Photo Shoot

I have been wanting to post these pictures but couldn't because we used one of them for Kyle's Mom's Christmas present. She got the first pose blown up to an 11x14 and framed to put on her wall. The only difference is that the concrete is under them, not the grass.I am so pleased with the way they turned out, but it doesn't suprise me at all! Missy is such a great photographer! Missy, I have no idea what happened to the ones of just Kylee. They must have gotten lost when our computer shut down on us. Can you resend them to me?? I'll post those when I get them!

Yesterday I called Kyle from work to check in with him and see what was going on and he informed me that he was taking pictures of Kylee while they were playing on the floor. I wished I could have been there to see it but I'm glad he captured the moment for me. Kylee was crawling all over Kyle and, of course, he was messing around with her being the jokester that he is! LOL. Kylee and I are so blessed to have such a wonderful man in our lives! Thank you Kyle for being so great to us.

New Year's Traditions

Today we had MawMaw, PawPaw, and Gammy over for our New Year's Day lunch. On the menu: roast rice and gravy, black eyed peas, cabbage, rolls, and of course dessert! After lunch we all enjoyed watching the LSU game. Thank you all for sharing the start of the new year with us!
